Getting over someone you love

Ever been in love, like seriously in love with someone who doesn't love you back? Or with someone who clearly doesn't show any interest towards you?

Well, I have and I think that most of you have also experienced what it's like before. Be it a crush or a break up, it both feels the same - Terrible.

This situation is always an unfortunate one. However, you/ll need to know that it is ideal for 2 people to love each other the same, at the same pace to make it work. Life is never ideal though and to get this kind of relationship to work, you really need a whole lot of patience!

You'll need to weigh either waiting for them or moving on as options. If your feelings are real and you choose to hang in there, you must not scare them away with your feelings (I tend to do this :<)

If things are meant to work out, you should be great friends before becoming lovers anyway. While you let both your feelings reach equilibrium, you'll find it becoming easier to ignore your strong feelings for them and just sit back, relax and chill with them.

*It's not always important for you to impress them, or do nice things for them in a loving way because it may give you hope to know that they can see you in the same light.

But how do you get completely get over someone you love when they do not feel the same way?

First, you will need to realize that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you! Most people (like me) tend to start blaming ourselves when we find out that we're unable to make the person we love, love us back. But then again after thinking and doing some reflections, I'll ask myself... " What for? "

Ask yourself this - Have I done anything wrong and I should feel bad about it?

If no, then you shouldn't start taking all the blame!

If someone is not interested in you, it is in your best interest to find someone who does love and adore you for who you are. Know that you are worth it, and that there are plenty of people out there who will love you. Never settle for someone who is not treating you and respecting you the way you deserve. Never settle for second best if you know you deserve more.

Secondly, ask yourself what might be in their head or heart. Like the phrase: " It takes 2 hands to clap, 2 to tango ", it takes 2 people to be in a relationship and even though you feel the way you do, maybe it was meant to be this way.

Unless you suay suay (unlucky) kena those who're just playing with your feelings ... which in this case you should just tell them to ....

Otherwise, you should just save your love for someone who feels the same way about you!

In my case (my past girlfriends), I know i deserved better. I told myself " She isn't worth my love, she's too young to realize what she's doing to me so guess that's that." Somehow this form of self-console kinda works if you put your mind into it!

Oh and in any case you're wondering, after all the bullshit my exes put me through, i won't be dating anyone 2years younger than me anymore. They say that age is just a number and it doesn't define maturity but I think otherwise. Sometimes you'll need the years to experience more about life; Going through the different problems and obstacles you face in life and through there, you'll grow up and start maturing.

However if you date someone who's too young and apparently don't know how to 吃苦 (eat bitterness) yet. You'll be facing a whole lot of problems and bullshit throughout the relationship. Another advantage of dating someone your age (or older) would be that they have more stories and experiences to share with you, as compared to someone who's much younger than you.

Thirdly, the main focus and tip I'm giving here is not about getting over a person but knowing how to feel good about yourself. It's about knowing that you are the most important (other than your family/friends) and you need to be happy. If this other person doesn't feel the same way, it doesn't really matter! Why be with someone who wouldn't want to make you happy, right?

IF i'm really in love with someone, I think it's crucial for me to ensure that I not only love her, but also ensures that she stays happy.

Fourthly, you need to know that love itself is a peculiar thing. There is an almost ludicruous asymmetry between two people. For example - The person at the top of your best friend list may rank you only at the middle of their list.

However, if you truly and seriously loved someone, then you'll be able to realize that it's ok if they don't love you back.

*Another story telling time: Few months back I was In love with this girl who I thought at that period of time, meant the world to me. She's the first person whom I fell in love with for who she is and not her looks. Initially there were sparks and romance here and there... however she realized that I wasn't the one. Obviously I had no choice to move on because she will never love me back the way I love her. However painful it must have been for me, I tolerated it and understood that it's for the best for the both of us.

This is why, they say that true love gives and expects nothing in return; a true unrequited love.

So, I've moved on from my companion. She gave me the strength to realize that i CAN move on. Gave me the courage to try on something different. Wisdom and sense for me to also respect myself. So, if you truly love them, it doesn't matter if they feel the same way in the end as your love conquers all.

Lastly, if you believe in destiny then you should know that things happen when they are meant to be. People part for reasons beyond human comprehension but reality is in fact, remaining and it will stay if you are meant to love each other and be with each other.

Closing off this topic with le following phrase:
" Only when one stops chasing and pursuing someone who doesn't love you, will you open the door to that perfect person who will love you back with the same intensity that you will love him "

Lol the above post actually took me a whole lot of time to type out + checking for spelling mistakes (I've been writing since 8.50pm). Anyway how are you guys!!! I've been really busy everyday for the past week as mentioned in my previous blogpost; Filming, school and work has practically killed me. Haven't been out for the past week with my friends and I'm missing them already ):

Lately I think my lecturers in SP has been on a sadistic spree on something as they've been flooding us students with endless presentations, projects and reports to complete by next week (the following week is exam week lo! No time to study at all). Which explains why I've yet to do up the " Ask Tyler #1 " video yet #validexcuse

So yeah, in a week's time it would be my exam week and it also means the following weekend would be my holidays (YAY). If you've been following me on my instagram ( ), I've stated that I'll be on a hiatus for 2 weeks as I'll be undergoing some changes aesthetically. Can't wait to show you guys what I've in mind !!!!

Alright, I'm kinda done with updating you guys with my personal life. Here's some photos!

  1. Sharing Of Thoughts...
I Did Thought Of What U Been Thinking, If My Partner "Worth" My Love. After Some "Deeper" Thoughts, Am I Giving True Love Too Of Having This Thought? Isn't True Love About Giving? I Really Don't Know, Been Seeking Answers Too. Can Be True About Age Cause Most Of Times It Reflected True. I Know I Had The Right To Choose My Partner, So Does Anyone Else. Maybe Its Just That One No Longer Able To Move As Far/Still As Mine, Who Had fulfilled His/Her Journey & God Had Arranged Someone Better Of Handling US...
