I have always felt that eyebrows are one of the most important factors which contributes to how a person looks in overall. The shape of our eyebrows can determine how we look, fierce? approachable? cutesy? and the list goes on.

I've been concerned with the overall appearance of my brows throughout the years. I've always wanted a pair of thick straight brows that are on matching on both sides (aka symmetry) as I find that men with thicker, straighter eyebrows more presentable, appealing and better looking too!

My dream looking brows has always been Jaejoong. Perfect symmetry & shape !

And this is where my problem lies, My brows on the left side of the face has this weird arc which gives me a much fiercer approach. Not forgetting to mention that there are a lot of " holes " in between my brows which makes it looks bald at certain spots.

In several photos, you will probably realize that my right brows are of a totally different shape too! If you were to compare it to the left. 0 symmetry, 0 balance and It's seriously time I do something to it!

I've been researching on eyebrow embroidery online for a really long time before deciding on which I would like to do! Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to try out Eagle Beauty's 6D Eyebrow Embroidery!! Which is also the first in the world !!

Before proceeding with the procedure, the specialist will sit you down and access the current condition, color and shape of your brows! As I've been going for brighter coloured hair for a really long time now, she determined that a pair of brighter brows would be matchier with my bright coloured hair!

So step 1, dyeing of my brows to a lighter shade!

Pardon the redness from my sensitive skin, but this is how my brows looks like sans dyeing! It's of a lighter shade now! Also, since this photo is soooo close, you can actually see the " bald spots " on my left eyebrow now. Unsightly isn't it!!

After the dyeing of my brows, we started discussing on which kind of brow-style would best suits me and we agreed on the Korean-style eyebrows. Which was thick, straight and neat on both sides! Which was exactly what I wanted!!

The lady started to trim my brows and fill them in with an eyebrow pencil before preparing for the procedure. Adjustments were made in case you're unhappy of how it turns out !

Before the procedure, a numbing cream would then be applied on to your eyebrows for around 10 minutes. This will allow the numbness to set in so that the pain from the embroidery session wouldn't hurt that much!

With a pen-shaped beauty tool, the lady added the colour pigment onto my skin, filling my eyebrow with strokes. It was a rather uncomfortable process as the numbing cream wore off already so the procedure went on longer than expected as they had to numb my eyebrows again! Other than that, it was relatively painless, just a little bit of tugging here and then!

Here comes the shocker!! This is how my eyebrows looks like after the procedure!

The difference between 6D Eyebrow Embroidery and it's past version is the different number of strokes. The 6D Eyebrow Embroidery uses a technique which introduces more strokes to create more dimension and shadow to create a much more realistic and natural pair of brows!

You're going to look like labixiaoxin (crayon shinchan) for at least a week so try to stay home then! I went out a whole lot that week as I had a lot of stuff to settle and I got a whole lot of weird stares and it wasn't really a pleasant experience for me HHAHA.

*Peeling occurs days after the procedure and it is normal. It is when your brows starts to look more natural. Just apply the  gel and cream they gave you religiously and you'll be fine*

After all the peeling. this is how my brows looks like one week after the procedure!! A neat, straight pair of brows which has symmetry on both sides :D YAY!

Closeups 2 weeks after the procedure. As you can see for yourself, my bros looks 100% natural even with close inspection and I'm extremely impressed and happy with the results!!

Thank you Eagle Beauty for the experience! I would be heading down again to have a touch up for my brows soon and I'll be writing about that experience in due time :)

If you would like to have the perfect pair of brows you've dreamt of, do give Eagle Beauty a try and I assure you, you'll not be disappointed!! Oh, and there's an ongoing promotion currently available so don't forget to check it out! ->

My Skincare Journey With Lush Aesthetics Pt 2

Hello guys :) I'm back with my skincare journey update!

I paid Lush Aesthetics a visit 2 weeks back!!

Since my very first visit, my skin has relatively calmed down a whole lot. However, blemishes and comedones are still present and that's the goal for the visit this time!

There are a couple of you who've emailed me enquiring how the interior of the rooms looks like, so here it is!! It's really really cozy and comfy to be in! I tend to fall asleep within 5 mins of the mask application!

This time, my therapist recommended for me to undergo the AHA treatment which helps to target my active comedones, acne and also clear up  the blemishes and lighten the skin tone! We ended the session of a charcoal mask :)

Update few days after the treatment

My skin was relatively calm for a few days after the treatment. It was till I went for my wisdom tooth surgery and underwent through facial trauma. My face has always been like this whenever I undergo surgery... so it's nothing new. My face broke out thanks to the surgery but it has been clearing up faster this time and I think it's thanks to the treatments done by Lush Aesthetics! Though there are still a couple of acne here and there right now, I'm looking forward to getting it cleared next month!

If you're interested to give Lush Aesthetics a try, you can visit...

Have a good day!

Recently i've been seeing many people describing themselves with 4 letter alphabets and i never truly understood what they are referring to or talking about.

Basically it's this really popular online quiz that categorizes you based on a series of questions! AND IT IS REALLY ACCURATE!  You can have yours done at

INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the INFP personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

Being a part of the Diplomat (NF) personality group, INFPs are guided by their principles, rather than by logic (Analysts), excitement (Explorers), or practicality (Sentinels). When deciding how to move forward, they will look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue – INFPs are led by the purity of their intent, not rewards and punishments. People who share the INFP personality type are proud of this quality, and rightly so, but not everyone understands the drive behind these feelings, and it can lead to isolation.

We Know What We Are, but Know Not What We May Be

At their best, these qualities enable INFPs to communicate deeply with others, easily speaking in metaphors and parables, and understanding and creating symbols to share their ideas. The strength of this intuitive communication style lends itself well to creative works, and it comes as no surprise that many famous INFPs are poets, writers and actors. Understanding themselves and their place in the world is important to INFPs, and they explore these ideas by projecting themselves into their work.
INFPs’ ability with language doesn’t stop with their native tongue, either – as with most people who share the Diplomat personality types, they are considered gifted when it comes to learning a second (or third!) language. Their gift for communication also lends itself well to INFPs’ desire for harmony, a recurring theme with Diplomats, and helps them to move forward as they find their calling.

Listen to Many People, but Talk to Few

Unlike their Extraverted cousins though, INFPs will focus their attention on just a few people, a single worthy cause – spread too thinly, they’ll run out of energy, and even become dejected and overwhelmed by all the bad in the world that they can’t fix. This is a sad sight for INFPs’ friends, who will come to depend on their rosy outlook.
If they are not careful, INFPs can lose themselves in their quest for good and neglect the day-to-day upkeep that life demands. INFPs often drift into deep thought, enjoying contemplating the hypothetical and the philosophical more than any other personality type. Left unchecked, INFPs may start to lose touch, withdrawing into "hermit mode", and it can take a great deal of energy from their friends or partner to bring them back to the real world.
Luckily, like the flowers in spring, INFP’s affection, creativity, altruism and idealism will always come back, rewarding them and those they love perhaps not with logic and utility, but with a world view that inspires compassion, kindness and beauty wherever they go.

INFP Strengths

  • Idealistic – INFPs' friends and loved ones will come to admire and depend on them for their optimism. Their unshaken belief that all people are inherently good, perhaps simply misunderstood, lends itself to an incredibly resilient attitude in the face of hardship.
  • Seek and Value Harmony – People with the INFP personality type have no interest in having power over others, and don't much care for domineering attitudes at all. They prefer a more democratic approach, and work hard to ensure that every voice and perspective is heard.
  • Open-Minded and Flexible – A live-and-let-live attitude comes naturally to INFPs, and they dislike being constrained by rules. INFPs give the benefit of the doubt too, and so long as their principles and ideas are not being challenged, they'll support others' right to do what they think is right.
  • Very Creative – INFPs combine their intuitive nature with their open-mindedness to allow them to see things from unconventional perspectives. Being able to connect many far-flung dots into a single theme, it's no wonder that many INFPs are celebrated poets and authors.
  • Passionate and Energetic – When something captures INFPs' imagination and speaks to their beliefs, they go all in, dedicating their time, energy, thoughts and emotions to the project. Their shyness keeps them from the podium, but they are the first to lend a helping hand where it's needed.
  • Dedicated and Hard-Working – While others focusing on the challenges of the moment may give up when the going gets tough, INFPs (especially Assertive ones) have the benefit of their far-reaching vision to help them through. Knowing that what they are doing is meaningful gives people with this personality type a sense of purpose and even courage when it comes to accomplishing something they believe in.

INFP Weaknesses

  • Too Idealistic – INFPs often take their idealism too far, setting themselves up for disappointment as, again and again, evil things happen in the world. This is true on a personal level too, as INFPs may not just idealize their partners, but idolize them, forgetting that no one is perfect.
  • Too Altruistic – INFPs sometimes see themselves as selfish, but only because they want to give so much more than they are able to. This becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, as they try to push themselves to commit to a chosen cause or person, forgetting to take care of the needs of others in their lives, and especially themselves.
  • Impractical – When something captures INFPs' imagination, they can neglect practical matters like day-to-day maintenance and simple pleasures. Sometimes people with the INFP personality type will take this asceticism so far as to neglect eating and drinking as they pursue their passion or cause.
  • Dislike Dealing With Data – INFPs are often so focused on the big picture that they forget the forest is made of individual trees. INFPs are in tune with emotions and morality, and when the facts and data contradict their ideals, it can be a real challenge for them.
  • Take Things Personally – INFPs often take challenges and criticisms personally, rather than as inspiration to reassess their positions. Avoiding conflict as much as possible, INFPs will put a great deal of time and energy into trying to align their principles and the criticisms into a middle ground that satisfies everybody.
  • Difficult to Get to Know – INFPs are private, reserved and self-conscious. This makes them notoriously difficult to really get to know, and their need for these qualities contributes to the guilt they often feel for not giving more of themselves to those they care about.

The Birth Of Baby Eden

He only opened one eye during the day of birth. SO CUTE RIGHT

My nephew was born on the 25th of August. It was definitely a big change for my life! In fact, it was a tremendous change in my family's life. This little bundle of joy has brought a whole lot of happiness, luck and fun to our life and I'm currently enjoying my time spent with him.

I've always had a thing for babies. I would call it, my fatherly instincts. I can't help but shower love, care and concern whenever I see an infant. It's like, they're begging for love and attention without even doing anything! They're truly the epitome of innocence...

Dear nephew, I love you :)

I'll be posting more photos of this little bundle of joy soon ;) Stay tuned :)

My Skincare Journey With Lush Aesthetics Pt 1

Hello guys :) I'm here today to introduce to you my current facial sponsor who will be helping me with my skin issues for the next 6 months!

As mentioned previously, my skin has broken out really badly recently. Though it has been pretty much more or less tamed, i'm still plagued with lots of blemishes as I've pretty pale skin. Which makes it even worst as these blemishes are more prominent ):  To make things worst, the haze in Singapore has affected my skin and I'm breaking out again! What a trying and tiring cycle T_T

Below are photos of my skin condition a couple of weeks back. I've never had the habit of editing my photos so whatever I'm showing you is my face in it's naked glory T_T  It's so unsightly isn't it!

Thank god lush contact my manager and we had this sponsorship collab worked out!

Lush Aesthetics is located at
19 Tanglin Road, Tanglin Shopping Centre, #06-11, Singapore 247909

My therapist Joanne recommended for me to undergo the customized treatment! She wanted to target my existing acne problem first and also rid my face of the comedones before we proceed with lightening of my post hyperpigmentation marks and scars ):

The treatment basically consists of
-Double Cleansing
-Enzyme peel
-Extractions with a supersonic extractor
-AHA peel
-Customized mud/clay mask

Like I said, the treatment for you will be customized as according to your needs so yours may be different!

Here's how my face looked like minutes after the extraction was done T_T So unsightly and disgustingly red!

They then applied this soothing mask to calm my face of the redness due to the extractions and ...

Viola!! My face isn't that red anymore! :) Which was pretty impressive if I may say so myself!

Update few days after the treatment

My face is breaking out less often (also thanks to my diet change, skincare products and kinohimitsu!) and my pores are visibly cleaning and looks healthier too! My skin has a glowy and dewey look to it despite the blemishes and i'm really looking forward to my next session with Lush Aesthetics!

Milk & Honey!

Gave milk and honey a try some time back with le bff! I found that the yogurt tastes pretty similar to the llaollao but the main difference and plus point is definitely the different assortment of toppings, sauce and macaroons!

The yogurt is pretty good and I can't wait to give their lavender yogurt a try the next time :D

Introducing One Of My Favourite Scenic Spots In Singapore - Mount Faber

Hello guys :)

I've been thinking of clearing my past photos onto a series of blog posts but I can't seem to retrieve any of the photos from my old hard disk T_T Guess I'll have to make do with the more recent photos and update you guys a little on my life then.

Anyway I got my hair done at Salon Vim again recently, well... not recently since this post is roughly a month old hahahaha but I've to give a huge thank you to Elize from salon vim for the amazing job well done :) I was going for a gradient tone of lilac/purple and ash and she did a really good job with it! Her haircuts are always on point and I feel good and look good all the time :)

I've been meeting up with my dear bffs very little this year. Like bi-monthly? Well, we're all growing adults trying to fit in with society so jobs and school has definitely became a hindrance to our meet ups. But I was definitely glad to be able to spend time with this little angel every now and then :)

Drove a temporary car back then and it has one of the worst seats ever. It wasn't leather encased so the seats kinda absorbed a whole lot of heat during bad days but oh well, at least i get to drive! Hahaha

Brought her to montanna brew bar to treat her the different waffles available there :) After which, I got us Rose shaped Gelato from GELATO @ B1 of Plaza Singapura!

After leaving plaza sing, I had the thought of bringing her to one of my favourite spots in singapore. Can you guess where it is?

It's the peak of Mount Faber!!!

Since young, I've always had a fascination and love with nature and any place which feels very forest-y. You can call me nature boy yeah? HAHAHA! Camping was definitely one of my favourite things to do during sch and exploring different places was definitely one of my fav hobbies :)

All pictures are taken with my new Casio Exlim 3500!! I'm loving how the photos turns out so far and the low light setting has been pretty superior to the previous ex-zr10000 that i've been using! I'll probably do up a review on it soon :)

It's always a good time when you've good company ;)

Thanks for reading! x
